China National Radio Taiyuan, July 29 news (Li Yanqin) On July 29, Taiyuan Federation of Trade Unions in Shanxi Province launched an observation activity for creating a 'Home for Workers in the New Era'. Zhang Lei, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Xue Zhidong, Party Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and more than 60 people, including representatives from various county and district federations of trade unions, directly affiliated grassroots trade unions, and members of the municipal federation's leadership team, participated in this observation and exchange activity.

Zhang Lei, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Standing Committee of the People's Congress and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; Xue Zhidong, Party Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; representatives from the trade unions of various counties and districts; various directly affiliated grassroots trade unions; and members of the municipal federation's leadership team, totaling more than 60 people, participated in this observation and exchange activity.

In order to exchange experiences in the construction of trade union workers' homes and improve the integrated construction level of "union, station, and home," and to further promote the solid development of the "New Era Workers' Home" creation activity, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions selected Taiyuan Silian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Yangqu County Workers' Activity Center, and Jiancaoping District Federation of Trade Unions Workers' Activity Center as observation points for visits and exchanges.

The observation group first visited Taiyuan Silian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as Silian Heavy Industry). Silian Heavy Industry's "New Era Model Workers' Home" was officially put into use on June 20, 2021.
