On June 24, 2023, to celebrate the "July 1st" anniversary of the Party, all members of the Silian Group went to the Dianzidi Village, a model village supporting the liberation of Taiyuan, to carry out thematic education activities, led by Wang Rong, the Party secretary and chairman of Silian.

In the support square, comrades faced the Party flag, raised their right fists, and Secretary Wang led everyone in reviewing the Party oath, remembering their original aspirations and mission, and carrying forward the red spirit.

Entering the Red Lecture Hall, Wang Rong, the Party secretary and chairman of Silian, gave everyone a special Party lesson on "July 1st".

Since the founding of the Communist Party of China in July 1921, it has gone through 102 years of arduous and glorious journey. The Communist Party of China combined the universal principles of Marxism with the national conditions of the Chinese revolution, explored the truth of saving the country and strengthening it, and opened up a path for national rejuvenation; it led the Chinese people to fearlessly sacrifice and create glorious achievements. In this 102-year journey, the Communist Party of China, for national liberation, national independence, social progress, and people's happiness, united and led the people in heroic struggles, experiencing the tests of war and peace, revolution and governance, construction and reform, setbacks and victories, and ultimately achieving the glorious achievements of the democratic revolution and the socialist revolution and construction. As a Communist Party member in the new era, the development of the times no longer requires us to sacrifice ourselves to blow up bunkers, nor do we need to shed blood and sacrifice our lives, but we cannot forget the solemn promise made under the blood-stained Party flag, and we cannot forget the historical mission and responsibility we bear!

Secretary Wang's speech consisted of two parts: first, to deepen and implement thematic education; second, to deepen understanding, enhance capabilities, take on responsibilities, and achieve practical results.

1. Unite hearts and minds to continuously create new historical achievements on the new journey.

Closely focusing on the overall requirements of the thematic education of "learning thoughts, strengthening Party spirit, emphasizing practice, and achieving new achievements," adhering to high-starting-point planning, high-standard promotion, and high-quality implementation, combining with the company's actual situation, and deeply promoting the thematic education.

2. Deepen understanding, enhance capabilities, take on responsibilities, and achieve practical results

We should deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishments" from the great achievements of the Communist Party of China leading the people in revolution and construction, and from red revolutionary education, enhance the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four confidences," and achieve the "two safeguards".

(1) We must earnestly grasp theoretical learning and consolidate the ideological foundation

In order to effectively improve the quality and efficiency of theoretical learning, the Silian Party branch has formulated a learning plan. Leading members should take the lead in learning, and on the basis of solid personal self-study, innovatively promote the "full process, thematic" theoretical learning model. The full process means that theoretical learning runs through the entire process of thematic education; thematic means that, combining with the actual situation, thematic learning is carried out, and concentrated learning and discussions are carried out through forms such as listening to thematic lectures and giving Party lessons.

The Party branch makes full use of "three meetings and one lesson," themed Party days, and other opportunities to carry out learning, and adopts various forms to check against the learning plan, organize branch members to complete self-study, and create a strong atmosphere of persistent learning, continuous learning, and proactive learning.

(2) We must conduct in-depth investigations and research to solve practical problems

Leading members focus on "top priorities" to promote development through investigation and research, in accordance with the requirements of "adhering to centering on the center and serving the overall situation, adhering to the mass line and seeking advice from the people, adhering to seeking truth from facts and problem orientation," focusing on problems and shortcomings in deepening reform and innovation, improving quality and efficiency, safety production, Party building, and team building, as well as hot and difficult issues that concern employees, proactively study and formulate research topics, and conduct high-quality research work. By listening to opinions and suggestions from all sides, we will coordinate and determine the research topics and content, study and formulate high-quality research plans, clarify the research content, methods, and specific requirements. At the same time, we will expand research channels, enrich research forms, go deep into grassroots units and production sites, grasp the real situation, diagnose problems, seek advice from the people, and improve the scientific nature and effectiveness of research. Focusing on "key small matters" to promote people's livelihood through investigation and research. In the process of investigation and research, we adhere to the concept of employee-centricity, starting from small things, and doing everything possible to do practical things for employees, solve problems, and eliminate worries.

(3) We must strive for practical results and create a new landscape of high-quality development

Manufacturing prosperity leads to industrial prosperity, and strong manufacturing leads to strong industry. "High" and "new" are the lifelines of high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. As a coking machinery manufacturer, Silian resolutely shoulders the responsibility of promoting the revitalization and development of the manufacturing industry. We will make every effort to overcome difficulties, do everything possible to accelerate development, truly form a consensus in our thinking, unite as one, form a strong force, and work together to do a good job in all aspects of our work. We must adhere to daring to establish and break, taking the lead and trying first, and doing well and achieving results, with the spirit of "driving a steel drill to the bottom," comprehensively promoting various tasks, ensuring daily progress, monthly achievements, and annual harvests.

(4) We must plan deeply and far-sightedly to forge a strong backbone for advanced manufacturing

Aiming at "high-end," we will focus on chain development. Implementing precise positive and negative lists of products and processes, consciously benchmarking against excellent enterprises, and promoting improvement in quality and efficiency, acceleration and expansion, and upgrading. We must continue to make efforts in promoting the supplementation of short-board industries, the extension of advantageous industries, the upgrading of traditional industries, and the construction of emerging industries, enhancing the continuity and competitiveness of industrial development.

(5) We must be innovation-driven and occupy the "smart" high ground of industrial transformation

Unmanned operation, promoting digital construction, future coking enterprises will achieve intelligent application on the basis of digitalization. We will give full play to our characteristic advantages, further strengthen market-driven development, target industry subdivisions, strengthen high-tech innovation and exploration of new fields, strengthen the industrial chain by making up for shortcomings, improve the value chain by market orientation, and develop the innovation chain with core technologies, continuously cultivating new growth points. Continuously improve product quality and supporting capabilities, use strong core competitiveness to seize more market share, and build new competitive advantages in the industry.

In short, under the strong leadership of the superior Party committee, we will strive hard, work diligently, continuously strengthen technological innovation, strive to be the vanguard of coking machinery manufacturing, and promote the in-depth implementation of thematic education and accelerate the high-quality development of Silian with practical actions.

We must continuously improve our political capabilities, always keep in mind the "major national issues," and shoulder the political responsibility of ensuring production safety. Continuously improve our thinking capabilities, master and make good use of strategic thinking, dialectical thinking, systematic thinking, innovative thinking, historical thinking, rule of law thinking, and bottom-line thinking. Continuously improve our practical capabilities, make greater efforts and more practical measures to do a good job in "innovation" and "market," and continuously create a new situation of high-quality development for Silian.

Three outstanding Party members were commended for their July 1st achievements, and awards were presented. The commendation of outstanding Party members is intended to encourage all Party members to diligently study Party theory, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, loyally serve the people, conduct affairs truthfully and practically, bravely shoulder responsibilities, achieve success, work together in unity, and make loyal contributions.

After the Party lesson, under the guidance of the docent, we visited the Support-the-Front Memorial Hall to learn, trace the footsteps of our predecessors, listen to stories of support-the-front efforts, and draw strength for progress.

Comrades paused to gaze at precious historical photographs, carefully examined textual archives, and listened attentively to moving stories of the revolution, gaining insights into the revolutionary spirit of facing death without fear and the spirit of the people's unwavering support for the war effort.
